Haircare tips

Heyaa Bunnies!

So I am reallly excited about my hairgrowth lately..

I used to dye my hair all the time and damage it cuz I got no chill but lately switched to human hair wigs and oh boy it's worth it!!

There are tons of things I changed when taking care of my hair so I wanted to show you♥️

Please remember everyone has a different hairtype and scalptype. Adjust everything accordingly.

Also keep in mind your hair can only grow to a certain level. These tips will help to stretch your hairgrowth to the max potential.

Back in March when I hit the max damage (after bleaching my hair with 30 volume like the hundred time within a couple weeks). Plus I had henna underneath...my hair literally melted off.

Back in August I cut off everything bleached and dyed. My hair is only natural now.
I lifted my hair on the second pic to show growth.
Also yay my melody pjs in both pics lmao.

My hair and scalp

I naturally have very frizzy wavy/curly hair.

I used to have natural curls when I was 18/19 but I haven't seen them since but they are wavy at last.

Back then I used to let them airdry and didn't comb them until dry (only used shampoo as well), that's how I know they are curly.

Tgis pic is from 2018!!!
So yes wavy/curly maybe.

I do get dandruff, ...fast.

I normally don't have any but as soon as I stop taking care of it. Boom. Dandruff straight from hell.

So permanent or tight hairstyles like sew-ins are almost impossible for me to maintain.
After like 2 weeks I had to remove my sew-ins again cuz things were getting ugly.
(My scalp even started to bleed once under the dandruff)

So here are the things that I do and that work for me:

Oiling

You don't even need expensive bottles!!
I looked up what oils are good for your head and apparently olive oil is good for dandruff.
I. Am. In. Love.

Hairgrowth starts from the scalp so let's make sure the new hairgrowth is strong and mositurized.

Just put some drops of oil on your scalp 1-3 hours before washing it and massage them in.
Make sure to massage your scalp not your hair which is tricky. If it makes rubbing noises, you are massaging your hair.
Imagine it as if you are punctually putting slight rotating pressure on it.

The first few times oiling causes the contrary of what you want. You will experience hairloss.
Oh man that was the scariest thing ever, I lost so much hair.

Because it will get rid of weak hair, making room for new hairgrowth.

Right now I barely loose any hair like omg, I could count them. It's literally nothing.

Oiling has to be used continually.
Because well, hair doesn't grow over night right?
It takes a couple months until you see a difference but it is sooo good. Keep going.

I didn't do oiling when I still had bleached hair.
I started doing it after I cut it off and it sped up my growth dramatically.

When I am running with my fingers through my scalp it is crazy how thick it is...
It. Doesn't. Stop. Growing.

It even took care of my few bald spots I had.

Scalp Scrubs

Talking about the roots.

Just like the rest of the body, the upper layer of skin sheds. Or similiar, idk I am not a scientist but you understand what I mean.

If you don't get rid of it, it might clog your pores.

In the beginning I used coffee powder.
Y'know after you made a coffee, instead of putting it in the trash use it on your head.
Coffein ➡️ faster hairgrowth.

Currently I use a coconut scrup specifically for dandruff from Vita Coco.
It's without silicones.
I do a scalp scrub once a week.

Detox

All the products you use on your hair.
As much as they can help...it also weighs your hair down plus all the nutritients and moisture you want to add, won't break through at some point.

Detox shampoos are almost non-existent here in my area...even online it's verry hard to find some.

Currently I like to use this one.

I detox once every two weeks.

Double shampooing

Especially when your hair is covered in oil, it takes longer to shampoo it out.
But after I started double shampooing, my hair doesn't get greasy as fast and it feels fresh and not dry at all.
After oiling I wet my hair first, take 1 pump and rub it between my hands to make it foamy.
I put one hand in the front and the other on the back of my head to cover the whole head and still not use too much product.
Since there is oil in your hair, the foam will go away quickly.

My hair got longer and to protect the ends from drying out I cover it in conditioner.
Normally conditioner should not be put on roots but I am shampooing it anyway.
You can do the same method with long hair.
I like to use a mask for my wigs and leave it in for like 3 minutes for shampooing again and then use a conditioner on the lengths.

This is the second shampoo I use.
I also mixed some rosmary essential oils in it.
Rosemary➡️Faster hairgrowth

Drying it

I always thought airdrying your hair is better because of the heat damage that's caused by a dryer.
Turns out I was wrong.
Wet hair is more fragile and swells up, leading to breakage when put under stress.
I even went to sleep with wet hair.
That explains why I always had tons of hairs on my pillow.
First I put in a leave-in.
I try to only catch my lengths.
Which is not easy with this short hair but I am trying my best.
I then use my wet detangler from tangle teezer to brush through my hair.
If you have long hair, start from the bottom and work your way up.
Always use heat protectors.
It is the key to using heat with as less damage as possible. Again I am brushing through my hair.
I put my dryer on medium heat and dry my hair fully.

Oil

Oiling before on your scalp makes your hair stronger and makes it grow. Oiling your lengths afterwards is giving your hair the moisture it needs.
I really love this spray.
My hair is still very short and ot makes it possible to spray oil on my lengths without touching the roots.
Oil can attract dirt and clog your pores.

Everything else that is good to know

1. I am wearing bonnets to sleep. Friction gets reduced, so less hairdamage.

2.Wash your hairbrushes. Imagine putting on a dirty top on fresh washed skin. It's the same here.

3.do not wear tight hairstyles or elastics. (Or at least not often)

4. Protect it from wind, heat and cold. Because I am wearing wigs, it's always protected.

5. Keep styling to a minimum. Including mousses, hairspray etc.

6. Use microfibre towels.

7. Massaging the scalp promotes hairgrowth.

8.Don't get frightened by silicones/sulfates. Silicones lay around your hair and build a stronger structure leading to less breakage if you have fine hair. Just make sure to not use it on your scalp (clogs pores) and to remove it (detox) to prevent buildup. Hairdressers use products with silicones in it and all heat protecters have it. It makes you think. Sulfate is what cleans your hair, but could also dry out your hair, especially your lengths. That's why curly hair products are usually sulfate free as it tends to be on the drier side. Sulfates are for example also in soap and shower gels.
The ones I read the most is Dimethicone and Sodium Lauryth Sulfate (SLS).
If you are interested in the topic you can look it up, there are more.

9. Use the right hairbrushes. I have a wet detangler, a wood brush and a boar brush. (And a comb for styling of course).

10. Healthy hair comes within. Make sure to eat your vitamins. You don't need to eat pills if you are not suffering under a lack of some sort.
Bananas, eggs, avocado, nuts etc. are very good for healthy hair.

Honestly, I can't think of anything else in the moment
I hope you find my tips as helpful.

What's new?

Heyaa Bunnies!

So, a few might remember me..I think most do not care anymore.

However I missed blogging and talking about the stuff I like.

So a lil walk-through my life the past few months.

I got a new job that made my life so much more enjoyable at the moment.
However I am extremely short on money.
I can pay my bills and go shopping, but it's not enough to save or treat myself.
At first I thought it would do good for me as I was always wasting money but I am just not made for this type of life. I LOOOVE spending just too much. But I got a plan ahead to change this.

I am currently teaching myself how to do nails.
I was done in the middle of the night and became soooo lazy to fix the cuticle area but I an getting so much better at this. And yay my fingers ARE NOT BLEEDING THE FIRST TIME.
That was the inspo...I didnt have exactly the same rhinestones so of course it looks different.

Also I got a scanner to upload the magazines I own but I haven't figured out yet how to upload a pdf???

Even though I have quit gyaru...I still am hime or kinda hime I noticed.

I still wear Jesus Diamante, and Heels, and wear CLs and Makeup.

I pretty much wear whatever I want atm.
It is hime gyaru inspired but not 100% gyaru.

Bunnies debunked will stay a repost account.
New bio🖤
I haven't posted yet as I am still collecting pics.

Bunnies debunked will have a bigger focus on the modern trends.
Such as royalcore, princesscore etc.

Even though I find these terms ridiculous, I have to admit it helps a lot for searching the right inspo.

So do not take the bio too seriously.
I will repost whatever I am interested in.

I first started the bunnies debunked account as an inspo source for JD-related hime content but it turned more and more into a super pink frill lace type of content which I didn't find joy in anymore. I still like pink, don't get me wrong.
But I am not as obsessed with it.

As for the blog, I will continue giving tips and honest reviews. I might add more personal things in here.

I hope you will enjoy my future content even if it's not fully gyaru related☺️

Hime Gyaru Get-List for Beginners

Heyya Bunnies!

So I am super hyper about hime gyaru again. Thanks Lizzie. And talking about her, as my blogpost today I want to take her hime gyaru list and add some things to it. Since Lizzie decided to still call her a Hime Newbie...and I am kinda a Hime Oldie then I guess?

1. Kawaii ugg-style boots with bows and/or on them

Tbh you dont necessarily need uggs...they are the cutest yes, but literally any type of boots will work. Hime is all about the dresses and the hair. Lots of hime wore basic shoes. For very cold weather I recommend wearing tights+fleece shorts+overknee thermal socks+overknee boots. Depending on your outfit I would go with beige, black, brown or white. You dont need them to be heels.

2. A pair of cute flats (preferably with bows or lace on) tucked away into your bag for emergencies

Literally the SOS for gals that are not used to wearing heels...to me no problem wearing 8+ hours heels..I do have some hello kitty crocs tho for driving with my car...I can drive with heels, but its hella uncomfortable and I prefer not to. So completely valid point.

3. Wigs + hair extensions

The hair secret. Lemme tell you: every. Hime. Cheats. With their hair. All of them. Even the super natural hairstyles from jd staff used to be wig parts. Others may not notice, but I do...sometimes I even see where they attached them. So dont feel demotivitated if you cant make your natural hair look like that. They cant too. Wig parts are super cheap on Amazon and AliExpress to find. The blondes r a bit tricky to match with the color, however the blacks always were fine.

4. A healthy collection of false lashes + gyaru makeup in general

Tbh for oldschool jd hime gyaru you dont even need the lashes, bcuz their makeup did not consist of wearing lashes. I might make a blog post about that one. It surely helps with the look but it is possible to do without. Here is a picture of me with a natural hime makeup...also yay, super bright hair lmao.

5. My Melody bag

Yes...yes.

6. Hime Gyaru brand item (whether that’s clothes or accessories)

Tbh if you are able to fit within jd size 38/40 there are so many jd dresses sold at like 40$ rn on buyee...which is super cheap for jd...so I would 💯 consider it. If not, stay tuned I will give you tips which other places sell great hime clothing.

7. OTT deco’d phone case

Not necessarily, but almost impossible to resist.

8. Large bow hair accessory

Tbh bows and flowers are even more popular hair accesories than tiaras. If you dont have a pretty tiara, go for flowers...the are the easiest to style and they go with everything.

9. Pearl jewellery

Yes...also in different lengths...look more for choker/decolleté lengths...they are the best to go. Also charms to go with them...there are several crown charms to put on basic pearl necklaces..its the closest you could create to jd necklaces.

10. Floral hair accessories

Yes. Get flowers girlies.

11. Frilly bolero – one for dark coords, one for light coords

Not necessarily frilly...but bolero and cardigans are the best way to cover up for colder weather.

12. A small tiara – you’re a princess after all!

Yup.

13. A collection of Ageha/Vanilla Girl/Popteen mags

I honestly dont really understand Popteen here in this list bcuz its not really active in hime content, its just...cute. ageha and vanilla, yea and I would like to add ane ageha, your bae keiko got you with hime content in there. I actually have seen more jd hime coords in ane ageha than in ageha at this point. I also would like to add Rose, the hime gyaru magazine.

14. Set of deco nails (or get your nails done)

The good part about hime is that you dont even need to deco it...well-kept gel nails, or just pretty nails...dont even need to be super long, work well for hime. A big plus when you work in an occupation where you're not allowed to have long nails, or fake nails at all.

15. Thermal tights so that you can still wear cute dresses in winter

Agreed. Everyone takes cold weather differently. I am fine with sheer tights most of the time bit I am glad I have some thermals to switch up for when it gets super cold. There are also great tights on Aliexpress that are sheer from the outside and fleece from the inside...so there is no excuse to nor wear any dresses/skirts. These tights are even warmer than any of my pants could get.

16. Huge collection of dresses

Yup. For hime, dresses and skirts are the only way to go. There are some coords with pants/shorts but they are rare and not really a good goal to set. A pretty princess needs her gowns.

17. Lace patterned tights

Roses are the best prints. You are able to wear nets as well, but make them as small as possible ..the big nets dont go well with hime. But in general its completely fine to go without prints..especially when theres already a lot going on on your outfit.

18. A lil’ collection of deco items to decorate everything in sight (pearls, rhinestones, lace, etc)

Hime love to deco, mostl bcuz the stores often dont sell cute stuff or cute stuff is not cute enough...you also can make your very own hime shoes with laces and deco roses.

19. A pair of elegant heels

If you are able to wear heels, then yes...heels look best with hime.

20. Pink face mask during the pandemic (and to cover up makeup-less face haha)

I used to have a pink facemask. When the cotton masks were alright, I bought a pink one with rhinestones. Then they changed the law and one medical masks are allowed. So I eventually bought pink medical masks. They changed the law again to ffp2 being required, and now I just dont wanna spend any more money on it. The white ffp2 are super ugly but I wont...I just wont anymore.

Lucky is everyone who can wear customized masks bcuz here you wont get into any place with these.

21. A cute handbag

Indeed. Also get charms or cute keychains to put onto your handbag as accesory...you can immediately cutify any bag with it. Go for quilted totes if you can...they will go best and you can get them for cheap everywhere. Accessoirize and you are done.

22. My Melody/pink kigu

We love our cute kigurumi. I live in mine during winter. I always refuse to take it off, but it need to get washes unfortunately.

The anatomy of a JD hime gyaru code

Heya Bunnies!

Today I want to shortly talk about how to code a jd hime gyaru outfit...of course it also works for any other elegant princess dress besides jd.

The dress has to be a JSK or be a dress with straps..Usually those dresses are over the knee-length or mini dresses.

Either you wear a bolero or a cardigan. Mostly they end at the waist. This one is a JD bolero with ruffles on its shoulders. You can also close the first button on the top of it, and only the first one. We want to show off our dress💕
The bag: For hime either you go the luxurious way and get a quilted handbag/tote in either a shiny leather or metallic color...or you choose a big my melody tote like I did💕
Shoes: the best way is to match your shoecolor with the color of your bolero. It's also possible to wear just black plain heels, but it has to look tidy.
You can also wear flats if you don't want to wear heels.
Don't forget to wear tights. Either in nude/black or with a thin print like roses, dots or hearts etc.
A pretty princess always wears a beautiful pearl necklace around her throat. I like to match the length with the decolleté of my dress. I don't want too much skin showing, neither look like I am choking myself. I like to find a middle way.
For the hair you can either accessorize it with a tiara, some hairclips (with pearls for example) or a decent hairbow. For a JD-outfit avoid wearing decobows with tons of laces and pearls etc.
The hair is always done up tidy, mostly in curls.
I hope that was helpful.
Please remember that there are many ways to look hime and this is only an example of how to wear JD.

Reiwa Hime: Selkie

Heyyaa Bunnies!

Mostly nowadays everything hime gyaru buy is secondhand, because hime gyaru is a dead style in japan unfortunately.

I am glad Jesus Diamante still exists, however as I mentioned in my Jesus Diamante Sizing post...if you are a Size M the biggest size already might be too small.

Also I personally think that we shouldn't limit ourselves and our creativity by only copying old outfits and not allowing us to evolve.

Maybe that's why hime gyaru doesn't make a comeback?

There are no new brands and they are not size-friendly...

So I want to try out new brands that are suitable for hime gyaru and most possibly available in bigger sizes as well.

One of these is Selkie!

I had my eyes on this brand for almost three years now I guess. I remember when it just got opened...now it became such a big business.

The dresses are a lil pricey, so I never could get some. It gets hyped so much on instagram right now, that I treated myself and finally ordered.

And it breaks my heart that I did not like it.

Maybe I was just not lucky?

I ordered two dresses, however only one arrived and they sent me the message that one was not possible to send...on the exact date I received the parcel.

After I send them a mail they said it got sold out.

I am kinda mad that it was available on the online shop and I did not know I won't receive it until I got the parcel.

The other dress however...

It doesn't suit me at all.

Hime gyaru love big dresses which are fluffy and maybe have multiple layers...

But this dress makes YOU LOOK BIG.

It doesn't look like a big gown but more like a black potatoe sack.
I wanted to get a longer dress because I thought it would look more elegant and the shorter ones might look big on me, because I have big calves..
However it didn't work out.

Apparently the fabrics are only allowed to be dry-cleaned...and it' s thin...
It's see-through...I had to wear a shirt under it.

And the fabrics on the sleeves felt so scratchy...
It's uncomfortable to wear...I hate the sleeves because of this.

I was so devastated...

How could everyone be happy with their dresses and it was such a disaster for me?

What I liked until now was that Selkie had so many Sizes...I remember they offered sizes up to 2XL.

Maybe if you want to try it out, you can go ahead.

Will I buy from Selkie again?
Probably not.

Buying from the Jesus Diamante Online Shop via Jpshopping

Heya Bunnies!

About a week ago my three beautiful jd dresses arrived♥️♥️

It all came in this giaaannnt bag..
I received exactly the same in a smaller size as well💕
They also sent this tote bag as an extra gift matching to one of the dresses I bought..😍
I also received this bag...which I found...interesting...
Also bcuz the picture is completely blurry and the font and...reality...is high quality lmao..
It feels so off owning this bag🙈

They sent this letter with it:
Is anyone able to speak japanese?
I WISH I KNEW WHAT THEY WROTE THERE..
And especially who signed it...

All dresses I ordered were size 42 and they fit PERFECTLYYY😍
I worried the sleeves might be tight but I am able to comfortably move around in them and the dresses are not as tight as all the 42 dresses I bought from older collections..

One thing I disliked about all of them is that their zippers are on the back...I hate zippers on the back🤣🤣
It's always soo tricky to close them...

So heres my shopping experience:
Personally I found the design a little bit tricky at first but when I actually put myself into it, it seemed more easy to use..
I went to the button "order" on top and chose "online shop".
You can give your item a name, put in the link and exact price and also write in the comment section what size and color you want.
You can buy multiple items at once.
Which is giving you more options than buyee.

Choosing from the jesus diamante shop however is a task...they name the colors so weirdly.
Either there are two white dresses and one is called "offwhite", the other "white" and you don't know which is which...
Or there are 5/6 colors available but only 3 pictures..
So you don't really know what dress you are ordering.
Luckily I am able to read katakana and some kanji, so I could guess what color to take but I knew it could arrive a different color...
However, I risked it because in the end, I like all Jesus Diamante dresses...
In fact, the last yellow rococo dress was a color I originally didn't plan to buy ...
But it ended up being my favourite one from the order.

Jpshopping had to contact me since they did not understand what color I chose and it was easy to reply. We had the conversation via E-Mail.

Everything went super fast. They sent out the package within a week.

There are two payments you have to make.
The first one right after ordering and the second before shipping out.

I could actually choose what value I wanted to put on top of the package..however I decided to put the original price I paid and then having to pay a lot of customs and taxes in germany again, than risking the package being lost and then I cant get my money back. Thats also the reason why I chose shipping with full price insurance..

And the package actually almost got lost.
It stuck somewhere for over 6 weeks, even tho shipping was 2-5 business days.
So I was WORRIED.

I contacted Jpshopping and they said the only thing I can do is contact the place where the package is supposed to be at that time, which was the customs station in Frankfurt.
I sent them an E-Mail and they said they are not allowed to tell any information and I have to contact DHL. And when I looked at DHL, they said I have to contact the custom station.

I was confused,scared and desperate.
I had no idea what to do...and then out of nowhere I became mail I can pick it up at the post office.
I was so glad they didnt lose the package.

Will I order with Jpshopping again?
Definitely! That the package was lost was def not their fault and you can order from any online shop from japan with this site..
